Politics is a power game with the defined objectives of staying in power. Thus, there is no such thing as exercising refrain or restrain in order to sustain power. In a political battle, surrender is not an option. Neither can there be fixed rules or norms but simply to act appropriately depending on the circumstances which is not related to any aesthetic values but ground realities. Whatever it is, the players know best what they need to do to continue to be there. As observers or even voters they should watch the grand master play their games based on what they perceived as ground realities. The paradigms would be determined by the movements made by the Captain of the ship as he sails through the rough oceans, seas and rivers.
