TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY IN GOVERNANCE

In a world based on cyberspace, freedom of speech is more open whether of individuals or groups. It has become almost impossible to stop the flow of information for or against you. Those in governance whether elected or not must be conscious of the presence of the critical mass who are observing and watching their actions whether in public or private domains.

Never for one moment think that it is just a PR exercise with smiles, looking and doing good things if the reality is different. People passed judgment in every aspect of our behaviour and willing to say aloud if they find something done or said is not right. This is equally true if we choose to preach on proper behaviour or conduct; make sure you are a good example of that conduct and of justice and fairness. Managing governance, transparency and accountability have to be done honestly and sincerely.
